* These tours focus on Save the Hens Foundations’ mission work and are designed to give you a complete understanding of the prairie and waterfowl production. As with all of our tours, Save the Hens can tailor a package that best suits your interests.
Volunteer Tour
Depending on the season, you will take part in actual duck production programs being applied during your stay. You will join one of our landscape teams for the duration of your stay.
Landscape Tour
The Landscape tour is recommended for those having their first experience on the prairie. Save the Hens will show you the unmanaged prairie habitats and then show you how we implement and operate our managed habitats. The Landscape tours will let you see first hand what’s happening on the prairie today.
