The mission of Save The Hens Foundation is: Through a basic grassroots effort, Save The Hens Foundation employs member funds to work directly with landowners to implement Invasive Predator Management and restore grassland habitat that has deteriorated into poor habitat for breeding waterfowl. STHF carries out this mission by: o Trapping and controlling Invasive populations of Raccoons and Skunks that target breeding waterfowl o On the Ground Habitat projects that improve breeding grassland habitat waterfowl depend on for survival o Influencing land management choices that will improve wildlife habitat, o Teaming with the prairie landowners and the community to implement better land management choices, o Educating the public about the importance of proper wildlife habitat and management
