Boeder Waterfowl Production Area Project

The project is a restoration of the grass and wetland habitat that was taken over by invasive trees. The entire United States Fish and Wildlife Service property was being negatively impacted by the invasive trees. Waterfowl Production Area properties were purchased with Duck Stamp dollars and need help. The Boeder project is one of four funded projects the Foundation is currently working on through a North American Wetland Conservation Act grant in conjunction with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The grant matched the Foundations funding which included member funds, a Wildlife Forever grant and donated volunteer labor. These are great projects that positively impact breeding prairie migratory birds. Make a donation dedicated to our habitat projects and become a partner of the Foundation.
